Hanold Associates Recruits Chief HR Officer for Mylan

Hanold Associates recruited Eliana Zem as Chief Human Resources Officer for Mylan. Jason Hanold and Keri Gavin led the search based in Mylan’s global headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mylan is a global pharmaceutical company committed to setting new standards in healthcare. They have a portfolio of more than 7,500 generic and branded pharmaceuticals and markets its products in more than 165 countries and territories. The company offers a growing portfolio of more than 2,700 generic and branded pharmaceuticals, including antiretroviral therapies on which approximately 50 percent of those treated for HIV/AIDS worldwide depend. Its global R&D and manufacturing platform includes more than 50 facilities, and it is one of the world’s largest producers of active pharmaceutical ingredients. As Chief Human Relations Officer (CHRO), Ms. Zem reports to Heather Bresch, Mylan’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She will be a key part of the global executive team and will lead enterprise-wide HR strategy in close collaboration with the leadership team and board of directors. Ms. Zem will take HR to the next level by developing workforce plans and strategies that will ensure Mylan’s workforce is ready for the future.
