Hanold Associates recruited Sanjay Patel as the Vice President Global Total Rewards for Kellogg. Kile Hanold and Katie Traines led the search for the role located at Kellogg’s global headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Kellogg is the world’s leading producer of cereal, second largest producer of cookies and crackers and a leading producer of savory snacks and frozen foods.

The company was formed when production of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes® began at W.K. Kellogg’s newly formed Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flakes Company in 1906. The ready-to-eat cereal innovation would change the way people eat breakfast worldwide. W.K. Kellogg’s product innovation and drive for market expansion still influences the company and the food industry around the world today.

With their global corporate headquarters based in Battle Creek, Michigan, producing revenue of over $13 billion, Kellogg’s continues to be the world’s leading producer of cereal, snacks and frozen foods. Their well-loved brands are produced in more than 20 countries and marketed in more than 180 countries.

Reporting to the CHRO, Mr. Patel will act as a close strategic partner to the leadership team to ensure all compensation, benefit and HRIS programs align with the strategic goals of the company. He will support this high-performance culture by rewarding and attracting top talent and direct the planning, design, implementation, maintenance and administration of all compensation and benefits programs in order to maintain the organization’s objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.

“Sanjay is an excellent candidate who will be an amazing leader. He has incredible potential and drive to not only continue to build out the Total Rewards function, but to do much more,” said Katie Traines, a partner at Hanold Associates who co-led the search with Kile Hanold.
