Hanold Associates has been tapped to lead the search for Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) Chief Human Resources Officer based at REI headquarters in Seattle, Washington. Jason Hanold will lead the search on behalf of Hanold Associates.
REI began in 1938 as a group of 23 mountain climbing buddies and is now the nation’s largest consumer cooperative. They sell outdoor recreation gear, sporting goods and design their own line of award-winning brand gear and clothing. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Stritzke, REI’s Chief Human Resources Officer will be a member of REI’s executive leadership team and responsible for the people strategies and vision while driving enhanced levels of employee engagement across the organization.
