Sagent Pharmaceuticals is one of the fastest growing providers of specialty generic pharmaceuticals in the US market. The company develops, manufactures, sources and markets approximately 60 essential specialty injectable products across multiple categories, including anti-infective, oncology and critical care.
The company was founded in 2006 and released its first injectable product in 2007. The company has acquired whole facilities and controlling stakes in several others in Raleigh, North Carolina; upstate New York; and Montreal, Canada, to grow its product portfolio and expand internal manufacturing capabilities. Across all facilities, Sagent employs approximately 600 people.
