Southern Vet Partners has retained Hanold Associates for their Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) search. Neela Seenandan, Ashley Schiele and Katrina Prospero are leading the search for the role located at SVP’s global headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama.
Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is a leading network of animal hospitals that provides the highest quality of care to companion animals. SVP has grown rapidly through acquisition over the last four years, expanding to over $150 million in revenue and 70 veterinary hospitals, located largely in the Southeast. In May 2018, SVP raised additional capital from original investor Shore Capital (a middle market, healthcare-focused private equity firm headquartered in Chicago) and new investor Sequoia Heritage Fund (an affiliate of the global venture capital firm Sequoia Capital headquartered in Menlo Park) to support an increased pace of hospital acquisition and the further development of capabilities and infrastructure in the core business. The business plans to expand to more than 250 hospitals over the next 5-8 years. The company is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama and has more than 1500 employees. Founder Dr. Jay Price is SVP’s CEO and a practicing veterinarian.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jay Price, Southern Vet Partners’ CHRO will serve as the chief talent and culture officer to the enterprise. The CHRO will be responsible for the people strategy and vision. They will build a best in class HR function and drive enhanced levels of employee engagement across the organization and leverage an existing team of six and work closely with the CEO, CFO and COO.
