Uber Retains Hanold Associates for Director of Talent Acquisition Search

Uber

Uber has retained Hanold Associates for the Director of Talent Acquisition, Advance Technology Groups search. Ashley Schiele and Mayank Parikh are leading the search for the role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Uber is changing the way people think about transportation. Not long ago, Uber was just an app to request premium black cars in a few metropolitan areas. Now, it is part of the logistical fabric of more than 600 cities around the world. Whether it’s a ride, a sandwich or a package, Uber uses its technology to give people what they want, when they want it.

At its Advanced Technologies Group (ATG), Uber is building technologies that will transform the way the world moves. Teams in Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Toronto are dedicated to mapping, software and hardware development, vehicle safety and operations for self-driving technology. Uber is incredibly passionate about developing a self-driving system that will one day move people and things around more safely, efficiently and cost effectively.

The Director of Talent Acquisition role is the head of recruiting for Uber ATG. The ATG division is highly independent and has its own CEO and leadership team. The role reports to Adelia Curtis Duarte, who supports Uber’s recruiting efforts across all emerging technology as the Head of Recruiting for Emerging Technologies. The Director of TA will lead a distributed team of dedicated talent acquisition professionals to further meet ATG’s needs as it scales and builds the technologies of the future.
