Visteon Retains Hanold Associates for Critical HR Transformational Searches

Hanold Associates has launched two searches for Visteon, Regional Human Resources Director Americas and Senior Director Global Human Resources Shared Services, both based at Visteon’s global headquarters in Van Buren Township, Michigan. The searches are led by Keri Gavin, Katie Wolf, Sonia Nagra and Karlis Antons.

Visteon designs, engineers and manufactures innovative cockpit electronics products and connected car solutions for the world’s major vehicle manufacturers. They’re a leading provider of instrument clusters, head-up displays, information displays, infotainment, audio systems and telematics and SmartCore™ cockpit domain controllers. Visteon also supplies embedded multimedia and smartphone connectivity software solutions to the global automotive industry.

Reporting to the CHRO, Kristin Trecker, the Regional Human Resources Director will be instrumental in guiding Visteon’s transformation from a traditional automotive supplier to a leading technology supplier to the automotive industry utilizing software-based technology and cloud-based tools.

The Regional Human Resources Director will be responsible for increasing business performance by solving complex organizational challenges through talent-related solutions and they will be an integral resource to the leadership teams they support. They will create the vision for the region and the end-to-end people strategy that will drive business performance.

Leading a team of six, along with a cross-functional group of subject-matter experts, this leader will design and execute the strategy for how Visteon hires, develops, engages, motivates, organizes and retains its employees. They will also be a trusted member of the HR leadership team, partnering with peers, the CHRO and C-suite to create HR and organizational strategy.

In a newly created role, the Senior Director of Global HR Shared Services will also report to Chief Human Resources Officer, Kristin Trecker, and will be instrumental in aligning resources, processes and technology to deliver the highest quality at the best value to support Visteon’s new HR delivery model. Visteon is in the midst of a transformation into a technology company. A majority of its engineers are software engineers, and Visteon is changing the way they attract, develop and retain talent. This role will be instrumental in leading Visteon’s transformation from a traditional automotive supplier to a leading technology supplier to the automotive industry.

The Senior Director of Global HR Shared Services will step in to build scalable processes and implement strategies that support Visteon’s ambitious and exciting goals. The successful candidate will be focused on establishing, prioritizing and delivering the new HR shared services function which, in addition to the functional leadership of the HR Technology and global Payroll platforms, includes oversight of the workforce planning capabilities. This role will refine the method, location and cost of service delivery and enable meaningful analytics and reporting of Key Performance Indicators.
